The Southcoast Tribune publishes on the first and third Fridays of the month. All special announcements, letters to the editor and other news material must be typed in a sans serif font or preferably e-Mailed to either of our addresses. No hand written material is accepted. No exceptions.

The Southcoast Tribune does not take responsibility for inaccuracies in advertising or submitted news by other parties.

If The Southcoast Tribune chooses to run a public service announcement and later realizes that said information has been contracted in any other publication, print or electronic, as a paid advertisement we will bill the originating organization at a cost commensurate with the advertising space in the other medium.

All new advertisers must have references and meet a credit audit. Subscriptions are $30.00 per annum, first class mail.

We would never knowingly print any slanderous or other materials. We do not solicit manuscripts or other materials not discussed before hand. Letters could possibly be edited for space, but generally will be left unedited.

The Tribune is distributed through a door-to-door, subscription, direct delivery, bulk and honor box system in Fall River, Somerset, Swansea, Westport, Dartmouth, Dighton, New Bedford, Fairhaven, Wareham, Marion, Bourne and Mattapoisett, MA; Tiverton, Portsmouth, Middletown, Barrington, Bristol and Warren, RI.

The Southcoast Tribune is a member of The Greater Fall River Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the NFIB, & The Westport Business To Business Association (WBTB,) of which Mr. Gregory is President. Chuck is also the Vice President of the Ms Senior Sweetheart Pageant of America, Inc. and the Chairman of the Board of The Corky Row Club.

In addition to our publisher accepting the John Brayton Civic Achievement award from the Chamber in 2004, The Southcoast Tribune has been selected by the United Way of Greater Fall River as the “Outstanding Media Award” winner for 2006-2007.
